Thank you very much i think i'll get Emipre first to try it out then i'll think about Napoleon I enjoyed Empire because the Warpath DLC lets you play as Natives and kill whitey, awesome! Napoleon's Pennisula Campaign DLC was also pretty fun. I found Shogun 2 to be by the far most difficult Total War game i hated Shogun 2 for so many reasons. I never played Rome 2 because i heard it sucked majorly and was rampant with things wrong. Napoleon has challenges, especially if you follow his specific campaigns, but again not notoriously difficult. The AI in Empire is pretty weak so it's not particularly hard.sometimes it's just dumb and small single-city Nations will openly declare war on huge empires. You can follow a single player "story" where you play as Napoleon's army and go to the different places he went and then have a mini-campaign where you get like 30 turns or so per place you go. There is a main campaign like the classic TW games but it's a small map. Napoleon: Total war hides in the shadow of better games in the series, and the conquer Europe routine feels a little stagnated after the support elements have been reduced. Empire is like your classic TW games where you pick a country and go. When it comes to Empire or Napoleon, Empire is far longer for singleplayer, and most people prefer Napoleon for multiplayer.
I couldnt get into Empire and when you play Napoleon you just get sucked into the wonderful way that the Napoleonic period is represented with all the colours, contours and unit depiction. A new and independent Iberian Peninsula campaign map featuring 32 controllable regions. People talk about maps but the crucial aspect (at least for me) is the battlefield. It is played in a similar manner to the single player campaigns.
